The First of three EPs recorded together, 2014-2015.
Werk is a project of guitarist and producer Edwin Dorley, drummer Adam Waterfield and synth-musician-and-field-recordist George-Rayner-Law. Having previously played together in a post-hardcore band as Elk Blood, Werk came about as an outlet for experimenting with sampling, with the intention of making music that's "political" rather than emotional.
Track 4, or the B-Side of the tape version, is a improvised live recording recored in Voice Memo's on an iPhone.
Rrecording, production, mastering, design and manufacturing by Werk at IHMHQ, Ancoats, Manchester.
